SEPTEMBER 2023 – BOOST ENERGY: FRESHERS BOOST WITH LEMON & LIME
We brought some ZING to Freshers Week 2023 with our new Boost Energy Lemon & Lime flavour! We know students are always up for a laugh, so we teamed up with two of NI’s finest comedians, Ciaran Bartlett & William Thompson, and challenged them to get UUB students to say ‘YES’ to the Boost Lemon & Lime Challenge; a spontaneous afternoon at Prison Island where #TeamLime and #TeamLemon competed in a series of mental & physical challenges to win cash prizes. As well as sampling at lots of student events, we also ran an online competition for students across NI to win a GRAND… not a bad way to kick start uni life!
AUGUST 2023 – BOOST SPORT: IT’S IN THE BAG!
We jumped straight into the NI Summer sunshine with a brand new, Limited Edition flavour for Boost Sport – Raspberry & Mango which literally flew off the shelves… so much so that we see this Limited Edition favourite making a comeback… watch this space! We teamed up with sporting goods retailer, Decathlon, to launch the new flavour and engage with sports enthusiasts across the province through in store sampling days, social competitions, and influencer collabs to include giveaways. We also ran an instore promotion with a free bottle for Boost Sport Raspberry & Mango with every Decathlon transaction. Our collaborations with paddleboarder & swimmer @TheWanderingSelkie and professional boxer @PadraigMcCrory provided great content for social media & helped engage, excite and inspire our followers.
JULY 2023 – BOOST JUIC’D: BOOST’S BUSKER CORNER
Our first ever Boost’s Busker Corner Stage hit the streets of Belfast and L’Derry in June this year to mark the launch of our new JUIC’D flavour – Blood Orange & Raspberry Crush. We teamed up with Belfast Busker, John Garrity and Cool FM/ Downtown to find some of NI’s best buskers to perform on the Boost’s Busker Corner Stage and two extremely talented buskers were crowned our 2023 winners – Highway 56 and Jack Fairon! Each busker got a massive boost in exposure as thousands of people across Northern Ireland heard them sing on Cool FM and Downtown PLUS they got the opportunity to be the opening act for ‘Belfast Busker’, John Garrity, at his summer gig in the Empire where they played in front of a live crowd. #alwaysinyourcorner
JUNE 2023 – BOOST DRINKS: ALWAYS IN YOUR CORNER
In May we launched our celebratory ALWAYS IN YOUR CORNER campaign. We asked the NI public, to nominate their local hero and/ or corner shop; the person who always goes the extra mile, sacrifices their time to help others or who are active in their communities, to receive a Boost Drinks Award. After an extensive judging period we selected 5 winning heroes and 5 winning shops who will receive their awards at our big birthday bash at Titanic Hotel in November 2023. Big thanks to Gareth Hardy (right) from Hardy Distribution, exclusive distributor of Boost Drinks in Northern Ireland, and local rugby hero, Stewart Porter, Malone Tornadoes Mixed Ability Rugby Club, who helped with the campaign launch. #alwaysinyourcorner
MAY 2023 - BOOSY JUIC’D: JUIC’D JACKPOT
When our new JUIC’D flavour, Blood Orange & Raspberry Crush, hit the shelves, we went BIG, giving consumers the chance to win prizes everyday with our online game, JUIC’D JACKPOT! We also had lots of prizes to giveaway on the Boost NI social channels… just our way of saying thanks to all our loyal JUIC’D fans out there. Our Boost Squad travelled across the province sampling the full JUIC’D line up and it’s safe to say, Blood Orange & Raspberry Crush did not disappoint. #alwaysinyourcorner
APRIL 2023 - BOOST ICED COFFEE: GO ON – YOU’VE EARNED IT!
To kick start our 20th celebrations, we hit the streets of NI in our BOOST ICED COFFEE TRUCK, giving workers, gym goers and shoppers a much-needed coffee BOOST when they needed it most! We celebrated moments of deservedness with competitions to win coffee hampers and coffee dates with your nearest and dearest. And a big shout out to NI influencer, Lauren Hannigan, who helped us reward even more people with lots of iced coffee goodies and showed us how she gets the most from her day with a Boost Iced Coffee Caramel Latte. #alwaysinyourcorner
